Runner's High

I have never been a runner, although I am aspiring to be one. Not a major one, just a minor one. I wussed out on moving to week four of my couch to 5k program, so I just did week 3 again. I was listening to Christina Aguilera and BAM! My legs started moving faster than they ever have in my entire life, I could breathe, and I was smiling! I loved it. I even ran more than they told me to. I was having a loser day today, in my pajamas all day, frusterated for no apperant reason, and this just popped me out of it. Too bad it's 10 pm now. Well anyways, I like it a lot, and I am looking forward to the next time.

Gold Star

I love blogs. I came to the conclusion that I like getting praise from people for everyday things. I think when your a child you constantly get it and then it goes away the older you get. Blogs are a way to obtain that praise once again. For instance, your child is in swim lessons, you do a post and everyone says how great you are, or like Katelyn's hair cut. Little things now become big. And you can depict how you would like your life portrayed. I trimmed our huge rose bushes yesterday and mowed our lawn today, and of course I took pictures. I would post them but the only one who truly appreciates my hard work is Stephen (because he didn't have to do it) and my neighbor Rendi because my yard isn't such an eye sore anymore. So I am going to give myself a gold star.

I would post about the beautiful new car that we just purchased, but I have been restricted.

But I will say this..I just got my hair done 3 weeks ago, I paid $60, and it looked like it needed to be done again. So tonight Stephen pulled it through a cap for me and for a home made coloring job it looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. I am a blond again, I will post a picture when I actually style it. So if anyone would like to borrow "Esteban" as I'd like to refer to him as, too bad!

Katelyn's Updates

Katelyn got her hair cut yesterday. We took about 2-3 inches off although you can't really tell by the pictures. She sat so still and was so quiet, it was kind of unusual. She is officially POTTY TRAINED!!! We are so excited. I was inspired by her cousin Jayla getting potty trained that I figured it was time to bite the bullet. She hasn't had an accident for the last 3 days. She keeps telling everyone that she gets to go on a "potty train" so we are going to take her on a train ride. She is already so lucky. I have never been on a train ride, so it should be lots of fun. Preston is working on getting his 2 front teeth in. We all have some type of sickness, it's good times.
