Little Miss Sassy Frass

After chasing Katelyn with a camera and getting terrible pictures, see below. She finally decided she did want to look cute on the blog. Haa.
I have been dying to get Katelyn's hair cut in an a line. So I cleverly convinced her that she wanted to get her hair cut like mine. She was pissed while getting it cut. In the car she said, "I telled you that I wanted YOU to cut my hair like yours! UGH." She wants me to cut it like her's now. Baa haa. If she ever kept a bow or rubber band in, then that could be a possibility. She has been such a stinker bug lately. She is constantly defying authority and pushing the limits. Sometimes I want to spank her or pull my hair. I have been pulling her close and hugging her and that seems to work the best. Who would have thought? :) I love my little sassy frass so much even when she is a stinky bug.

New Desk and V-Day

For Valentine's Day Stephen and I went out Saturday night. We weren't able to get into Texas Roadhouse so we grabbed a quick bite at Q'doba's or something like that. And then we went and saw Avatar in 3d. The first 5 minutes I was pissed that we paid the extra 6 bucks for blurry glasses, and then my eyes adjusted and I really liked it. Such a weird movie, but actually pretty good. I didn't want to see it because I hate doing things that everyone else does. It's really the only way I can rebel in my life now. :) Stephen took Katelyn with him to pick out flowers for me and she picked these out for herself. Ha. I got teary eyed when I saw that he got her flowers too. She is so very lucky to have a Dad that loves her so very much!
Check out these gorgeous flowers! I took a picture because they don't last long and I want to remember how beautiful they are!

Okay this is our awesome new desk. It's so freaking cute and we are finally "in style". We bought it from Office Depot or Max, I get confused for $119! What up?! It's cheap, but so are we, and it fits perfectly in our overstuffed living room.

This is our old desk that I bought before we got married for our little home. I got it from a garage sale for $50. It's served us well, but I will not miss it.

Get your craft on..

Preston's new picture frame. My camera super sucks. Looks all blurry, sorry.
And for the life of me I can't get these to turn. They turn on Picasa and on my pictures file and then they download sideways. So I guess my computer sucks too. User error you ask yourself, not possible. :)

Katelyn's picture frame that actually has a picture in it.

And Katelyn's magnet board, that is, you guessed it, sideways. Anywho, I have had a frame and magnet board made for Katelyn, and the supplies for Preston, just haven't done it. I just went to the scrapbook store yesterday to get paper for Buddy's. And then I decided to bite the bullet and just do them, considering Preston is almost a YEAR and a HALF OLD! Gosh I suck. I still have yet to do a scrapbook of his first year, haven't even started it. I didn't have the color of paint that I wanted so I mixed literally like 6 different colors. It turned out a greyish, blueish, poopish color. But hey, it's done. I did a car theme for his because that's what we will have in "Our infamous next house." Ha ha. His room is painted in a jungle theme and I just don't feel right about mixing the jungle with cars. Call me crazy. Alright, I'm out of here.

Fiesta Bowl

So I just uploaded pictures from my sd card and found all of these fun pictures from the Fiesta Bowl. Stephen was able to go with his Dad and Brother on a "Boys trip". They had a great time.
Preston sporting a Taco Bell hat that Grandpa Carl brought back for him. Stephen's Uncle Roger and Aunt Elaine live in Arizona and came to the game too!
The cute Nicolaysen boys!

Oh check out this hunk! I love him so much! He's so freaking cute!

L.O.V.E.

I LOVE these shoes. I found them online today and called Stephen to see if I could have an advance on my birthday money. Hee hee. We have started the Dave Ramsey Debt program and this is the first month that we are officially on a budget. So it would only make sense that I found my dream shoes for $40. Lucky for me, my husband LOVES me and he said I could get them for Valentines Day. Thanks baby! My feet are going to look Hot in these shoes! By the way, we are not in debt at all and if we were then I wouldn't even be thinking about this. :)
