Sewing advice...

So when I bought my first sewing machine it was when we first got married and I got it on clearnance for $50. It does great straight lines, but that's about it. For my birthday, I want to get a new sewing machine, so if you love yours, leave a comment and tell me what you have. I want to get one that's between $200-300. If yours is more than that, don't tease me. Thanks.

I had a Kenmore from Sears for years, it's affordable and will do more than your $50 machine. But my machine of choice is a Bernina. They are awesome. They sew through anything. I upgraded a couple of years ago and love it.

Sorry no sewing advice - but I have one that has been quite neglected, so if you're ever up for giving me a lesson I would love it :) You're so funny - you didn't have to use bill pay - but thanks for remembering. And as for Home Depot - well basically it's a rip off but we went with it because we're suckers and a little lazy :)Their quote was about as good as the one you got previously.
Good luck with the sewing machine search :)

I just got a sewing machine for Christmas and it has 40 different stitches-I've only used it a few times but it's way easy to use and the different stitches are fun to have. It is a Brother brand and was from Costco. I'm not sure of the price since it was a gift but I bet it's in your price range. Good luck! Come by if you want to see it too!
